Fireworks and a happy new year!!

Fireworks are always a great show to look at and are a very nice subject to shoot. This year they cracked the sky with wonderful colors and great shapes, one even took the form of a… palm tree! Take a look at the photos below and share with your friends if you like it.

All the images are shot with Canon 5D MkII and 70-200 f2.8L, on tripod and using a remote control; I kept the shutter open manually (on “bulb” setting) until each image got a nice composition. It does not get always as expected but it’s a nice lottery to play at the dawn of new year along with a bunch of noisy friends and champagne glasses 😉

I really enjoy taking pictures of people, landscapes and buildings but also enjoy the fine work of macro and night photography. I publish on the Lightorialist.com since it’s very begining and I like helping other Lightorialists as well :-)
