The biggest cross country in South-Eastern Europe

Each year in May thousands of bike riders from all across the Europe gather in Bucharest, Romania and start the race named “The First Escape”  (Prima Evadare). This year over 3000 riders of all ages signed up for a 54 km ride through mud, gravel, paved roads, blooming colza fields and forests.
Very well organized and with a lively spirit this is a major sport event and an excellent occasion for sport photography. With the pics below I captured the spirit of professional riders putting all their efforts for winning the race.
